Hi Keith,
I would like to join the SAE J2012 Committee. I retired from GM but am still active in my LLC business, providing OBD expertise to a number of suppliers. In my GM career when I retired I was the single Transmission Calibration Global Technical Specialist (OBD) have 21 years in TCM OBD and 15 years in ECM/PCM engine and OBD. I am hoping to help Ford and one of their suppliers request a few more DTCs under the J1979-2 protocol. This is a lead J1979-2 application for Ford and both Ford and the supplier would benefit using standard SAE J2012 DTCs verses manufacture controlled DTCs.
